In Their Shoes, An Artists Call to Action

How can a pair of shoes bring awareness and change for victims of domestic violence? In the art installation by Pamela Pike Gordinier and Julia Pavone at Lyman Allyn Art Museum in New London, CT, the artists used a new pair of shoes as a metaphor for transformation; a journey of fear to hope for victims of domestic violence. Join us as we take a stand against domestic violence in honor of “In Their Shoes” by making a donation to support the many women, children, and men impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault.
